WHAT COLLEGES SHOULD I BE LOOKING INTO WITH MY CRITERIA? any suggestions are welcome.

American University, maybe GWU for Political science.

What size school and general location are you interested in?

I guess in either California or the east coast [i.e New York, Florida, South Carolina, etc.]

any good accelerated law programs anywhere that i should know of?

I'm guessing that you want to go to law school.

As someone who is going through the process of applying to law school's right now (oh those dreaded LSAT's... and I thought the SAT was hard) I would recommend going to a good state school as opposed to a top ten school (your SAT and GPA are probably a little low for that anyways). Maybe one of the UC's.

May I give you a few suggestions for the future. Make sure you maintain a good UGPA in college. That will help you a lot when it comes to law schools. Also, more importantly, start studying for the LSAT no later than fall of your sophomore year. The LSAT is the number one thing law school's look at, it's more important than even the UGPA (for most... there are always exceptions). Don't be too worried about having the "perfect" major to look good for law school's. This is a common misconception, in reality law school's could care less what you major in... that's not their concern (as long as it isn't a fashion major or something... can we say Elle Woods?). Just major in whatever interests you the most and you'll be able to get a top UGPA.

Good luck!

American, GWU, Boston U, Brandeis, Pitzer

hmmmm... for political science/law?

Yep. Wellesley too.

i always thought of teh seven sisters schools as liberal arts schools.
