What schools should I look at?!!?! Biomedical engineer

<p>Will be a senior next year, so I'm starting to narrow down my college search...
Love math and science- really want to be a biomedical engineer or a chemical engineer</p>

<p>I've looked at U of I already, but am looking for other schools that I would be capable of getting into. Are the Ivies out of my reach or should I go for it??? I know this is a lot of info but I'm really just want to give a good idea of who I am </p>

<p>you’re definitely overqualified for Purdue, but you could still check it out. it’s a really nice school.</p>

<p>Boston U.- according to US Newsweek, their Biomed program is in the top 10 in the US.</p>

<p>BU and Purdue are schools you should get into and have very decent programs.</p>

<p>I would say for any top tier school you are competitive, but you don’t seem to have any “amazing” ECs that a lot of CCers seem to (not that that’s a bad thing!). I would recommend WUSTL (I’m attending WUSTL for premed biomedical engineering…best program in the country for premed :D), Johns Hopkins, Northwestern as three schools you could get into (I would be surprised if you got rejected at all 3). You could definitely apply to Ivies (and get into them!) but don’t be disappointed if you end up waitlisted/denied.</p>
