What schools should I look at?

I'm looking to major under Computer Science or Engineering. I've only just started the search for colleges, what schools should I be looking at?
My ECs right now are pretty abysmal, besides interning at Intel Labs last year and at a UW CS lab this year.
I know I haven't given a lot of information, but what should I be focusing on to improve?

UWA, U Waterloo, UBC, UIUC…

With weak ECs, the state schools should be a good fit as they also generally have much better engineering programs than LACs or privates.

Where do you live, what is your budget, and how far do you want to go?

Interning at research labs is often a good thing for prospective STEM majors, so I wouldn’t write him off.

I live in Seattle, but I don’t have any specific limits on location yet. Budget is reasonably high, although some kind of scholarship would be great.
My father teaches at UW, so I think I can get in there. Not sure if I want to, though,

Also, what about private schools? WPI had caught my attention, would that be a good match for me?

WPI: Low match/match
