I am finishing my Associate's degree in Communications at a SUNY community college and graduating in May. My GPA is currently a 2.8 but I am taking a few classes this semester with the intent of boosting my GPA. I initially thought my parents and I were sticking to SUNY schools though recently they seem to be opening my options and asking if would want to go out-of-state.

I went to La Salle University my very first year of college but our financial aid package fell through and there was no way we'd be able to afford it for another year. But I would love to go back to Philadelphia. So I do have experience at a real university.

So I'm really looking for a school with reasonable tuition costs, a good locale (preferably around a city on the upper east coast, NYC, Philly, Boston, etc.), easy to get in given my GPA and offer good communications programs? Any help would be appreciated. I have my SUNY options done (which is literally just one school) so out of state options are suggested.
