What schools take the ACT in place of SAT subject tests?

I have all of my SAT and ACT scores for junior year and they are as follows:

SAT (single-sitting): 2330 (770 math)

ACT (single-sitting): 34.0 Composite (35 math)

SAT II: 780 Physics, 770 Math 2 (I will probably will retake this test in October)

I'm not particularly ecstatic about my SAT II scores (especially Math 2), but I definitely want to submit my regular SAT score because it's higher than my ACT score. Does anyone have a list of schools that would allow me to submit my SAT and ACT and leave out my SAT IIs?

P.S. I'm looking for a list like this one but I know that this list is extremely out of date because I know UPenn does not have score choice

@gibby So, if a school says “SAT and 2 SAT Subject Tests or ACT w/Writing” and the school has score choice, I can just send my SAT and ACT, correct?

Also, does a school know if I used score choice when I send my scores? I would like to hide some of my scores, but I don’t think I have a score that is bad enough that would justify making it so a school knows that I’m hiding some of my testing history.

OP you are overthinking all of this. Send all of your scores to any college you want to apply to. All of the scores are great and none of them will hurt you. Think about and then work on your essays instead of worrying about your scores

If a school says “SAT and 2 SAT Subject Tests or ACT w/Writing” you just need to send in your ACT w/writing OR your SAT and 2 SAT Subject Tests – you don’t have to send in both.

Some schools, however, say “SAT or ACT w/writing and 2 SAT Subject tests” . . . so for those schools you’d have to decide if you want to send in the ACT w/writing and 2 SAT subject test and use score choice to hide your SAT score.

No colleges do not know if you have used score choice.

@GrudeMonk My guidance counselor told me that I should try to hide or retake the Math 2 score because it doesn’t really line up with my SAT/ACT math scores.

@gibby I definitely want to send in my SAT score, but I don’t want to show my SAT II scores. For the “SAT and 2 SAT Subject Tests or ACT w/Writing” schools, can I send my SAT I and ACT but hide my subject test scores?

^^ Yes, but realize there is NOTHING wrong with your SAT Subject Test scores. Both my kids had SAT Subject Test Scores from 740 to 780 and my daughter is at Harvard and my son is at Yale. And if their scores were good enough for HY, yours are too! Your SAT Subject Test scores are good enough for any school and you shouldn’t waste your time retaking them or worrying about them. Have you read this thread: <a href=“Does percentile matter in SAT Subject Test Scores? - Applying to College - College Confidential Forums”>Does percentile matter in SAT Subject Test Scores? - Applying to College - College Confidential Forums;

When it says SAT I and 2 SAT subjects tests or ACT with writing, it means:
(SAT and 2 Subject Tests) or (ACT w/ Writing) NOT (SAT) and (2Subject Tests or ACT w/ Writing)

As said above you are way overthinking your scores, they are all good and you could send any of them and be fine. What you should do is get rid of your guidance counselor!

Ditto - get rid of your guidance counselor. She or he is making you way too stressed. All of your scores are great and honestly, send them all – it only solidifies that you are a solid candidate – especially your scores that are from “one-time” test taking. Much better than score choice from someone who might have taken the SAT three times. Good job! Now watch some TV, go to the movies, have some fun.
