What schools to aim for?

Hi. I am currently a Junior in high school. I have a 4.26 GPA (on a 4.33 scale) unweighted, 2/250 class rank, not sure about my weighted GPA. I am currently taking 3 AP's (U.S. history, chem, english) and took AP World History (5 on AP test) last year. Hopefully taking 3 or more AP's next year as well.
730 on World History SAT subject test

Not to many EC's, but here's what I got:
Varsity Tennis team (since freshman year, hopefully all 4 years)
President of French Honors Society this year (maybe next year too)
Mu Alpha Theta (founder and VP)
Math Team (junior and senior year)

What kind of school should I be aiming for? I haven't taken SAT's yet, but I have taken a couple practice tests and got around 2100. I don't know what field I'm going into, maybe medicine but again, not sure.

I appreciate any feedback.

nobody wants to answer?

It’s honestly really hard to help you out when you haven’t taken your SAT’s yet… Sorry…

assume a 2100 SAT for the hell of it :P

Which schools have you considered so far?

To come up with a list of schools here are some factors you need to consider:

[ul]
[] Location.
[] Finanical aid:
For a lot of people this is the single most important factor. It is not uncommon to find kids with 2100+ SAT score opting to go to state schools. This makes the most sense for people who don’t qualify for FA and can not afford out of state or private colleges.
[] Size of the university
[] Prestige and ranking.
[/ul]

Tell us about your position on these factors and I am sure a there are a lot of people here on CC who can help you. Good luck.

And add a few words about the culture: frats, artsy, granola, rah-rah, quirky, jock, religious, single sex, intellectual, etc…there are tons of good schools, but not every school is a fit for every person and the smaller the school, the more fit matters.

And make sure you practice for those SATs-you can improve your score a lot just by doing a raft of practice tests and getting the technique and timing down.
