We are from OOS and are going to California for campus visits (from North Cal to South Cal). Would like some input on some schools to add to our list to visit with this criteria...

1) liberal arts major....something along the lines of community organization and advocacy, non profit management, sociology, peace studies, but not strictly these.

2) My DD is a National Hispanic scholar so what schools in California would give her some merit academic money?

3) My DD is also doing the international baccalaureate program at her high school but has decided not to do entire diploma but just take the IB test for cerificate, so what schools would offer credit for the HL classes?

4) Stats are unw. GPA-3.86, weighted 4.0, SAT-1860 (1260)

5 My D has a ton of volunteer hours in really good organizations

5) Has to be a school that is not necessary Christian based, but not a party school either.

I understand that the UC schools will more likely not give any money for OOS, but might be an option if everything lines up right and is a good match for her.
Anything you can suggest would be appreciated. Thanks!
