what science class to take as a sophomore

OKay, so I'm going to be a sophomore, and my highschool doesn't offer that many AP's.
And normally, your can't take an AP until your junior year. Like they don't allow you to take AP history until your junior year, but anyways, I'm taking summer school right now for chem, and I'm doing pretty good,( but it's summer school) so I'm wondering what should i take next year.
I'm thinking AP Chem AND Physics right now.
but IDK.
should i just take one? or should I take AP bio, (but i really like chem a lot more than biology)
so help me out here guys :) THANKS

Well, if you think you can handle it, then go for AP Chem and Physics, because that’s what I’m doing next year (but as a junior). I’m surprised you were able to take chem over the summer, but still, as long as you do well, then do it! Also, you could take AP Bio senior year if you wanted.

^ thanks, but i wanted to avoid taking these as a junior, because there’ll be so much going on, studying for the SAT’s and stuff. and summer school is really easy, since most of the people that got there are the ones that failed during regular school year. But is AP chem hard? is physics?

Well, what I meant is that you could take them sophmore year, and sorry, I meant you could take AP Bio Junior year. I don’t think it would be too difficult, seeing as how you just took chem and should remember most of it.

Shouldn’t be a big deal. I did Bio and Chem my Sophomore year (Physics wasn’t offered to sophomores) and then Chem II and Physics I and II my Junior year. So long as you can handle yourself in a science class well enough you should be fine.

Whats a sophomore? First year highschool?
And, I would take Chemistry, because its harder for me, and it gets it out of the way when you’re still young (if you are that is)

Don’t take Ap physics unless you have the math background-trust me.
Take ap chem, if you love it, though- i think you might be able to hadle it- I’m not you LOL

AP Physics C is really hard without a solid basis in Calc.

If you don’t want to overload yourself, but still want to challenge yourself, just take AP Chemistry and then Physics your junior year then AP Physics your senior year. But, if you want to get it done quicker, then double up in science and take AP Physics your junior year.

OHH guys , i think you guys misunderstood, it just AP chem, and regular physics, we dont have AP physics here at my highschool, only college physics, and you have to take it after you take regular physics, and um, im gonna take honors calc, next year. idk if thats good enough for math.

Alright kexin365. As I said, if you do want to challenge yourself, then take two science classes. But, if you don’t want that much stress (AP Chem is pretty darn hard), then take just physics or just AP Chem.
