I am currently in 9th grade.

I am taking AP Environmental Science and I have an A in the class. I am also in Geometry, I have taken Algebra 1 in 8th.

By the time I graduate, I want to take AP Bio, AP Chem, and AP Physics.

What science class should I take next?

10th grade: Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry
11th grade: AP Biology, AP Chemistry.
Still want more science?
12th grade: AP Physics, Honors Anatomy & Physiology.

Don’t take AP Physics until you’ve completed Algebra II (or until you are concurrently enrolled in Calculus if it’s AP Physics C).

It’s also beneficial to take the honors version of the class before AP (especially with Chem) so I would suggest taking Honors Chem next year. Throw in a bio class if you have room in your schedule. If you took regular biology in 8th grade and have a strong foundation, opt for AP. Otherwise, I’d suggest honors.

Then you can take AP Chem (and possibly AP Bio) as a junior, and AP Physics your senior year.

What all does your school offer?

Thanks everyone for your answers. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to reply sooner.

My school offers regular Biology, Physics, and Chemistry and the AP version of those classes as well as AP Environmental Science, which I am taking currently. My school doesn’t offer honors classes :(

I think I am going to take AP Bio next year, then AP Chemistry, then AP Physics.
I’m taking AP Bio next year because the regular classes are a step down from APES and the other classes would be too hard. I would take AP Chem my junior year and AP Physics last because by then I would of finished Pre-Calc.

I might take a Chemistry class online next summer, but that is far from now so I’m not stressing about it.

Again, thank you for your input!
