I'm not sure when interviews usually begin. I'm holding off to take 2 science classes (that I don't need for the MCATs but need for my major) until fall of my Senior year, and I'm trying to bring up my science GPA as much as possible. I'm assuming that that semester will be calculated in my GPA in time for med schools to see, but I'm just making sure.

You can start getting interviews pretty early in fall semester, in which case fall of your senior year would not be part of your GPA.

On the other hand, some interviews can happen in Jan/Feb, in which case fall semester shows up. In any case I don't know why you're using interviews as your target date. Medical school waitlists, which are extremely active, are if anything the more important threshold -- and those can sometimes use Senior Spring grades, too.

That's true, I forgot about that. I guess I need to ask another question, then. I don't have enough credits to be a full time student in Spring of my Senior year, so I'm graduating a semester early. Can this is in any way hurt me? I'm not purposely graduating early, and it's not a full year but only a semester so I'll be applying in the same application cycle.

I would also like to add that if and when I'm put on a waitlist, I would keep med schools up to date with my activities during that semester (I obviously plan on doing something with my time), so would that be their deciding factor of whether or not I get off the waitlist instead of my spring semester grades?
