What should I choose between Kelley Direct Admit and U Washington pre-social science?

Yesterday I got my Admission from UW. And of course I was quite delighted, but the fact is many students around me who even have a much lower scores got admitted. What should I do?
Thank you first~

Net price at each? Debt at each?

Washington’s business major has a competitive secondary admission process that you should be aware of: https://foster.uw.edu/academics/degree-programs/undergraduate-programs/admissions/standard-admission/ . Note that the 2.5 college GPA is just the minimum for eligibility to apply; it is likely that most of those admitted to the business major have significantly higher college GPAs, since only about 30-50% of applicants are admitted (but other subjective factors are considered besides college GPA).

My ds is grappling with a similar decision. He has several B school options, but one of the schools he loves admitted him to their behavioral sciences program and he would have to xfer once in. It’s a tough choice.

My advice to him has been that he needs to love the college first and foremost–you never know what will happen, and you want to be happy there if you decide to change majors. If you know 100% that you want business, and that you would be happy at IU if something were to change, I would go to Kelly. It’s easier to xfer out of business than in. However, if you want Washington more than you want business, go for it.

Direct admit to a top undergraduate business school should be highly valued by one who wants to study business. Unless IU-Kelley is unaffordable, then the choice is clear.

P.S. Two of OP’s other posts share important information not contained in this thread.

OP is an international student & has received a scholarship from Indiana University based on SAT score of 1430, SAT Math II score of 800, and a high GPA.

OP has been admitted / designated as an economics major at the University of Washington.

OP: What are your career plans or goals ?

Based on the above additional information, IU-Kelley with a scholarship seems like the wiser choice for one wanting to study business.
