<p>Major in what you like...just make sure to take the Bio, Chem, and Physics series and at least one calc class. Thus, you could major in, say, History as long as you do the aformentioned science/math sequences.</p>
<p>Generally, the admissions stats for other majors besides the sciences get into med school at greater rates.</p>
<p>Actually, the data show that major really doesn't matter at all in med school admissions. The majors of matriculants are in almost the exact same ratios as majors of applicants. </p>
<p>And I'm sure I've told you this before assassin, but just because you want to be a neurosurgeon now, doesn't mean you'll feel that way when you get to medical school. Keep an open mind. Most medical students have no idea what they want to enter until they have gone through most of their 3rd year clinical rotations. A lot find that what they thought they wanted to do is not at all what they expected.</p>
