What should I concentrate in? between a rock and a hard place

I'm an Informatics student at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis and I am trying to decide on my specialization/concentration for my major. For many of you who aren't familiar with Informatics, it is essentially the study of IT and how to better apply it to real world applications. Its more of a hybrid with combined elements from information systems, information science, and Information Technology.

At the moment I have hopes of working in the Analyst or system/network administration fields as i start in the industry after school.

My major requires that I either minor or specialize in another subject and I am stuck between a business minor from the Kelly School of Business, a network security certificate, or a network systems specialization. Both network studies are from the Purdue side of IUPUI.

I have discussed this with my career counselor and told him my goals and interests. So far he has been pressuring me towards becoming an IT consultant and going for the business minor. I feel like this is largely because the business route is very popular at my school and he boasts that the school receives more job offers than we have students.

I just want a good paying and lucrative job future that I will enjoy, but It feels like everyone is afraid to give me a straight answer to my question. business minor, network systems, or network security cert?

I would appreciate some feedback from you guys. What route would you suggest I go?
