What should I do about my math classes?

I retook the precalculus test and scored high enough to get into math2a. Right now I'm enrolled in math 1b and am trying to get a math2a class. The problem is that the lecture's (MWF at 3 P.M.) discussion classes are full, while the lecture only has 56 slots out of 120 filled up (last time I checked). While I'm not sure how they ended up with more lecture space than discussion, I was wondering if I should risk getting waitlisted on the discussion and go ahead and register for the lecture. If I do, that means I have to drop my 1b class at the same time in order to let webreg register the classes. I'm not sure If I should try it since my math1b class is already full and would make it hard to get into again in case I can't register for 2a. Thanks in advance for any help.

Nevermind, I read that websoc thing wrong. Ignore everything in the last post. Although what do they mean by this: "Enrollment in Math 2A Lectures, F, G, and H will be restricted to majors in the school of Physical Sciences and Engineering until 48 hours after the last enrollment window opens.
