I have taken the ACT twice and got the following scores

April 08:
E 27
M 31
R 33
S 28
C 30 (29.75)

Sept 08:
E 34
M 30
R 33
S 32
C 32 (32.25)

I have already sent in my September scores (a 32). But I have heard that WUSTL superscores the ACT. So should I send in my April scores (the 30) so that the math section will bump up my composite to a 33, or would I be better off leaving out my 30 and hoping they see the 32.25 almost like a 33? Thank you!

WUSTL only pulls out the highest individual section scores. send in all your dates, it can never hurt you. some colleges don't do this, and some frown upon multiple test dates. wustl doesn't :)

Although I'm not an expert, I think you should only send in the September score. Sure, WashU does superscore the ACT, but the only section that would go up if you sent in both scores would be Math, and that would only be by one point.

Why show them the lower score when the September score is much better overall? It's not worth one more point in Math to do it (I wouldn't want to send schools my low scores, even with superscoring, unless there was a clear advantage; I don't see one here).

I don't know if WUSTL superscores, but your September score can stand by itself. The individual scores are consistently high throughout, and the composite is higher than your april composite.

Whether or not you send that score should not be a deciding factor in your admissions decision. I would just keep the September score. Showing them a lower score would likely offset any benefit you would receive from increasing the superscore.

I would definitely send the September score. When I visited, the admissions officers emphasized heavily that they do superscore. They consider your superscore your composite for all intensive purposes. Mine is personally made up of three tests. I asked if I needed to send them all officially and they said that they accept the ones printed on your high school transcript.

I am sending them my highest composite score officially to be safe. They said that they take scores on the transcript as well. I would write and ask to be sure, but from what they told me it should be fine.
