Iam is junior in high school. now my GPA is around 3.5 didnt take either ACT or SAT yet.
i will bring my gpa up next year for taking AP course.

and is UF a good college for engineering?? which college has good reputation of engineering in floird?? like MIT??

The University of Florida has a great College of Engineering. Strong reputation. It’s not as good as MIT, clearly, but it is a good program.

I believe the GPA is calculated only up to your junior year of high. But UF sees the classes you are enrolled in for your senior year.

Learn how to spell Florida. (sorry:)

You will need excellent SAT/ACT scores to offset a 3.5 GPA (median GPA for UF is over 4.0) - so I suggest you sign up and take them ASAP. Also, what are your extracurriculars including leadership roles, community service, etc.? UF will look at the “whole picture” to compliment grades.
UF is well respected for engineering, probably the best in the state although certainly not the same caliber as MIT, Stanford, etc. But since admissions to UF are very competitive, you should also consider looking into FSU, UCF, USF, etc. which are all good schools as well.
