What should I do for applying graduate school?

Hi:)
I'm an international student from China. I transferred to University of Minnesota in my junior year. My major is economics ,bachelor of science , and my GPA in U of M is 3.8. I got one recommendation letter from my math instructor. And I'm preparing gre now. I want to study financial math or economics in graduate school. I don't know which colleges are suitable for me and how to write a good PS. Can anyone give me some advices?

You need to talk to your professors about what programs have strengths in the areas of math that you’re interested in studying.

Your Statement of Purpose (not a Personal Statement) needs to explain why you are interested in pursuing graduate studies. So, figure out why you want to go to grad school, and write that. :)

Also, you will need three letters of recommendation from professors, so think about what other instructors you could ask to recommend you.
