What should I do in this SAT situation?

Hi guys,

I took the old SAT twice with the highest being (800M 760V). Now I took the new SAT (790M 800V 710W). Should I retake the new SAT to get my writing up to 750+? I have 1600 composite for math and critical reading. I'm planning on applying HYPSM, but I've heard negative things about taking a fourth time, although new and old SAT are kinda different tests. I only had one chance for writing, so what do you guys think?

Good Job...
That NSAT score alone will get u in..
And the colleges will definetely consider that u did 10 points better on Old SAT Math if that maeks a difference..

710 Writing is very decent

If i was you I would burn all my SAT prep books and celebrate however if you feel you are capable of more it cant hurt you to take it over....

thanks for the comments guys. i don't mean to sound arrogant or anything, i'm just a bit concerned my writing isn't quite up to par with my other scores

i see where you are coming from, but a stellar essay would def make up for it.

I think you should take it again. I got 720 on the writing.

Thanks, I was leaning towards retaking it anyway. Any more feedback is appreciated!

another question is, does taking the new and old SAT twice make colleges think i'm overly obsessed with scores?

bring my post up (BUMP)

I guess if you want to... I am sick of standardized testing. I'm proud to be a one and done. However, it seems as if you are used to retesting, so if you really feel the need...
