I’m a non-traditional, 3.95GPA, Honors Program, first generation, immigrant student.
I’ve applied as a community college transfer to a few selective schools that don’t require SATs from transfers just to try my luck.
I’ve never withdrawn from any courses, except for this fall when I had to withdraw from 2 courses due to an injury that I needed time to deal with. I’ve saved screenshots of my A’s I had in those courses.
I forgot to explain it in my applications.
Also, I just came across information that colleges prefer to see full time involvement throughout the transfer transcript. I was part time one semester due to running out of Pell grant money for that year.
Do you think that part time semester and two ‘Ws’ from the withdrawn courses will hinder my chances?
What should I do?
Should I send a note explaining the situation and ask them to attach it to my file?
