what should i do over the summer?

I am a senior at high school right now. I want to know what I can do over the summer so it can be productive. Can anyone let me know? Would taking summer classes or doing a research intern?

please help me.

Honestly, I would recommend getting sleep because if you are like every other ccer here than you will be sleep deprived from self studying all those APs or trying to get a 2400.

To be productive, I would intern in the field your considering to go to work in.

lol...go travel and visit places!

Additionally, if you're unsure about your college major, taking some summer classes would definitely be a good way to narrow it down. Despite common belief, there really isn't time in college for students to wander through prospective majors because many of them require students to start freshman year and some of the bigger universities (Berkeley, Cornell, etc) require freshman to study in a specific college when they come. Freshman should have a good idea about what they're going to study when they come in.

Find some volunteering opportunities for your spare time. All I'm doing this summer is working, going on a college trip and going to several concerts/music festivals. I went to the community service office at my school and found 2 nursing homes and 2 soup kitchens where I can help out for a few hours every week.

volunteer

summer job (save up for college if you have to)

internship

college classes

sleep/relax, let the days pass by

prep for act/sat and whatnot

college admissions essays! (washu adcom at the info session said to get these out of the way..)

travel/college visits while you're at it!

if i were you i would workout intensely so you get the chicks

^yup that would deff help in college. jk :p

start self-studying for some of your courses next yr

aite having a great body will not guarantee of one getting chicks.. but it highly increases his chance.

coming from a girl, i agree ^

take classes at local cc that are transferable, volunteer
