I applied to Rutgers about a month ago(marked complete), yet I still have not heard back from them yet. I feel like I am pretty qualified to attend however, my status still reads : In Process. I am pretty sure I selected Early Action, but I cannot remember 100%. I feel my credentials are pretty good, and people with lower stats from my school heard back within 2 weeks. Should I shoot Rutgers an email clarifying if I submitted my application for the Early Action Desicion pool, or just wait it out. I am starting to get a bit worried.

I applied to the School of Arts and Sciences at New Brunswick.
I am in state, URM with a 2120 SAT B+ GPA.

There was no early action choice. If you applied before November 1st, you’re automatically Early Action. But your right. Your stats are good and similar to the people that are currently accepting.

Maybe your essay wasn’t that great/maybe you classes are challenging. Did you do ECs or volunteer? Still I think you should have been accepted by now o_o You’ll get in though. You’re SATs are too good to let go. Good Luck :)

I had a couple club positions, 60 hours of community service, and took some honors /AP classes before senior year, currently taking 4 right now… so I don’t know but I guess I will have to see.

Considering your stats, it’s strange you haven’t been accepted yet. Wait it out a couple of more days or a week.

I would contact them. Last year, kids with your stats heard within a week if they applied by Nov 1.
