What Should I Do? Please Help!

Well i am a freshman and our first quarter I had all high A's except for computer programming which I really couldnt get the hang of. I went to my teacher and asked for any extra credit because I knew I had a very high C. When I talked to him, he said not to worry about it since its a 79, and that he will mark it as a B.
Now after he told me this , he went back to doing what he was orginally doing. He didnt mark down anything. I was wondering whether I should make any hints or try to remind him because all the teachers in my school have to submit the grades by next week so he may forget. In addition, I was also wondering if any of you took computer programming at school and whether you found it difficult, because for some weird reason I am really struggling even with practice. Sorry for rambling, but I would really appreciate any input on what I should do to make sure its marked a B, and not a C. Also, is it significant to receive a B in the first quarter of freshman year because i am gonna work hard to receive all A's for the rest of the year.

Thanks in advance!

BUMP Anyone? Does anyone know if I should something or anything at all?

A B as a quarter grade in freshman year is not a big deal. Some colleges don't even look at your year-long freshman grades - the things you do sophomore and junior year are much more important. Don't worry about it.

If he does forget and marks it as a C, you can always ask him to change it after you receive your report card.

quaere is right. Teachers can change grades pretty much whenever they like. I just had my last year's English grade changed from a B+ to an A because my third quarter had been entered wrong. Wait until you get the card before you remind him.

Thanks for all your input. I think I will just wait it out. Is there any other input from people who have been in this same situation before? Thanks
