Hi,
I am now entering my Junior Year of High School. My GPA is around 2.9-3.2. Im going to try to get it up this year. I am trying to get into a good university, either around me or far, it doesnt matter. I live in NJ. I am going to go to a 4-year college, and then apply for Medical School. My main goal is to become an Anestisiologist. What can you guys reccomend?? What kind of colleges can I get into?? Im going to apply next year.
Also, My parents dont have money to send me to college. Will that be a problem? Or can I get Aid and get a loan?? Im looking for a big school, with a lot of students. I am probably going to Major in Biology. Please Advise me on what to do and please reccomend some schools to me that I would be able to get in to.

You will probably need to focus on your state schools. Getting need based aid to fully meet high need is tough without high grades and SAT scores. A state school is fine to prepare for med school.

State school is probably your best bet.
You could try some of the smaller private schools in the northeast that aren’t as selective, but if you want grad school, I would go the state school option or try and do very well on the SATs.
