I prolly should have planned this awhile ago, but what's something good that most can do

Well...it really depends on you. I had some friends who took the entire summer off....but most of us worked so we could put away money for college expenses like books and weekend fun :-)

I just lifeguarded...short hours...really good pay.

Get a job or volunteer. Don't do nothing.

be a couselor at a summer camp for the whole summer....highly recommend it... summer flies by, tons of fun, and when you return the ladies are all over you having missed you the whole summer...and it changes you, you get a tan, and it looks good

Work on your college applications.

oh...I missed the fact that you're gonna be a HS senior. Definitely do something that shows your interest in something you'd like to study in college. Agree with Sambago...definitely do something.

don't work on the apps for the whole summer! make sure to visit a few schools, see what you like, you can probly start thinking about apps but don't get too pressured! enjoy your summer, don't sit on your butt all day lol...get a job, maybe volunteer, go away.

If you can, try and do something unique that fits into what you want to do in college.

If you can't, then follow sambago's advice: "Don't do nothing"

I actually had a friend who did nothing every summer and wrote about doing nothing in his college essays ... How nothing represented something for him- how easy life was to understand... So he lived every day doing what people perceive as nothing but he saw it as understanding life... yea this kid got into MIT then again he is a genius... some random information i guess
