I'll start by saying I'm looking to attend either UC Davis or Cal Poly as an Econ major. Im also planning on finishing in one year. So next fall is when I am trying to transfer. My issue is that I am doing really bad in calc. I currently have a D and it is ruining my gpa. I currently have a 3.15 but if I wasn't in calc I would about a 3.67. My question is should I drop calc? I'm really struggling to decide because according to assist.org it is one of my major classes. So if I don't have it completed will I most likely not get accepted?
Basically what would be the better option, stay in calc and hope for a C or drop? If I drop calc I will have 3 of my 5 major classes completed.

You need to go to your counselor. If possible, your best option would be to drop the class and retake it.
