What should I do with my 4 free score reports?

I just took the SAT yesterday for the 1st time. I am about 80% sure that I got a score high enough (2250+) to not retake but I am by no means certain.

P.S. I got 2 800's on subject tests last year.

I was thinking sending them to top schools that require all scores anyway and could just update later if need be. On my list, all ivys (cept Dartmouth and Cornell), top 3 UCs, Rice, Stanford, Northwestern. Any of the require all scores?

And lastly, I got a 220 on my PSAT when last years cutoff was 219 (CA). Is it too early to send my confirming SAT score to National merit people when I dont even know if I made it? If not, how?

UCs, Rice and Stanford require all scores. Yale, Columbia, Cornell and Penn of the ivies do, the rest do not. Northwestern does not.

Many would say in your situation that you should wait and find out what your score is first. Also if money is truly a factor sending to colleges that require all scores now is really a waste of money – because you will have to send them any future scores also, including SAT IIs at which time you could send old score. The only way those work is if you are certain you never have to take any SAT test again and you cannot be certain of that until you know your score. Sending to the others, which all require or recommend SAT IIs will be the only way to really have a certain chance of saving because you would not necessarily have to send any scores in the future. But for those it definitely helps to know what the score is first since you don’t have to send all scores if you have to take the test again.

thx. anyone else?
