What should I do with two bad grades from a Canadian university?

Ok so I did my first semester at a canadian university last year.
I got an F in a class called "Earth and Ocean Sciences"
and I got a D in a Microeconomics Class.
The question is, will these grades be factored into my UC gpa?
I have a 3.8 gpa at a california community college now and im also part of phi theta kappa and part of UCLA's Tap program. Also my major is not an impacted major. I was taking a microeconomics class this semester, but i withdrew from it, because it was too hard and I was failing. What happens? For my question, above I meant "What do you think the UC people will do? will they factor those canadian grades with my UC community college grades or will they be separate?

Call the UC and ask them if they consider those courses transferable. If not, I think you’re good to go. :)
