Long story short I forgot that the sat subject tests were this saturday. Last week I took the SAT bio sparknotes practice test and scored a 420. I started studying Kaplin yesterday, and today I took the official practice test in the blue book, I scored a 600.

Now here is my problem, I know I need to study but the only review book I have is Kaplin and it SUCKS! I don't like the style or layout and the chapters are way to big (felt like they should break it up more). However, I don't have time or money to get another review book. What should I do?

then study from sparknotes

Look online, like collegeboard.com for sample tests,
go to library and look for prep books and take tests,
go to library and see if they have a link up to a college testing site that gives out sample tests (my library does)
Ask your friends to borrow their prep books.

Be Resouceful! do it now!

Also, I forgot, you can go to Barnes and Nobles, get the test book prep and take the test in the book store. DO NOT mark up book!

Borrow Barrons or Princeton Review from your local library.

^Well I had a countdown on my phone that I thought was for the subject tests, but it turned out to be for my ACT.

Yeah, go take some practice Barron’s tests at a library and bring your own paper to write down answers. Also study from sparknotes. Good luck, that’s some major cramming you’re gonna have to do :/

So what is a good Bio E score?

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using CC

Depends on your college, but usually 750+ is good enough.

So now I got another problem. I live in Oklahoma where we just got hit by a HUGE hail/tornado storm. My power is out (charged up my laptop on grandpa’s house) and my house is chaotic because of the storm (really damaged). So I have like no time to study and idk how I’m going to even get there. Round 2 is happening tonight and I was hoping that the test center was closed, but its not.

So what should I do? I can’t pay the fees to change the test.

Go on the AP Bio thread from a few weeks ago - there was a tumblr. review guide that was decent. Maybe watch some Bozeman biology videos on YouTube for concepts that you really have no idea about.
