Hello,
I am currently a high-school sophomore, but I am planning for the future. This next week I have to start signing up for the classes that I will be taking next year, and I am not sure what to do concerning science. I can take either AP Chem, AP Environmental Science, or Physics. I know that out of these three courses AP Chem is by far the hardest, and with my schedule next year it will be difficult to take this along with other AP classes.

What should I do??

Thanks in advance

Do you know what would be your intended major? Is it engineering, science, or other? Since you are planning for Junior classes, you need to think about what subject tests you will take too. That would be again based on your intended major and schools that you may apply. If would be the best the take the subject test right after the AP of the same subject. Does any of these AP classes have lab hour? My D’s school requires an additional lab hour for AP Chem. So that may be an important consideration too as it will affect your class schedule.

billcsho,
I am not completely sure what my intended major will be, but I am thinking some kind of science. Probably engineering or pre-med. And yes, taking AP Chem would require me to use one of my study halls for a lab hour. Did your daughter think that the course work for AP Chem was overwhelming?
Thank you for the help
