I had a question about brushing up on material for the MCAT?
I just completed the first course of Biology at my school (Genetics). I did okay, but my professor liked to do his own thing to the point that the book was useless to read.

I am also more of a book person. I like reading material to understand it.

I feel like my professor didn't touch on many of the important topics. I still have my book but don't know if I should look at other MCAT material or just study it this summer?

What should I do to get this?!

Thank you. I don't even know if I said what I am trying to say.

Brother man, do not worry as the mcat does not test you throughly on biology! I recommend buying the exam crackers book for biology and study of that and if studied enough you can get 11+ on them

Usuaally pepple do not study for an MCAT using lecture material. They buy the prep. material (or Kaplan or other class) and study from those books. Anyway, they study for the MCAT right before they take it, some take few weeks, others few month, depending how busy you are during your normal day at school.

use mcat review materials- kaplan or similar it really is about how to approach the test , not how much you know

Thank you! I will purchase some review materials to read on my way to do research this summer.

There is zero reason to use course material. In fact Kaplan recommends against it
