What should I do?

I’m going to be a senior next year, and I’m not really sure what colleges I should apply to or if I should do anything to make my application look better. At this point, I think it’s too late for the latter, and even if I try to do something, it won’t really look good. The thing I’m worried about the most is my ECs, or lack thereof. :frowning:

My average is around 95%, my SAT score is a 2030 (710 CR, 690 Math, 630 Writing)

SAT IIs: Biology (680), Chemistry (750), Math I (660)

APs: Biology, Chemistry

My household income is around $30,000, but I don’t think I should bother applying through Questbridge because I’m not really that outstanding.

ECs: I pretty much have no ECs other than a few clubs at school, and they don’t really show my dedication for anything. I’m not even sure what I want to pursue, maybe something science-y or in the medical field.

Home State? EFC? Intended major, STEM?

NY. My intended major is probably something in the science field. As soon as I get my hands on the appropriate tax forms, I’ll let you know what my EFC is.

If you are considering NYU as an option, it is notorious for horrible financial aid. Check out this post about NYU FA and you may think twice in applying.
