What should I do?

Hey guys

So I've already taken the SAT once(April) and am taking it again May 6th. Now I'm undecided as to whether or not I should take another SAT june or take the SAT II's. I'm intent on taking the SAT's 3 times and getting them over with. However, some would call it impractial to take the SAT's 3 times in a row(would you?). So if I were to take it some other time it would have to be in October because I'm planning on applying ED to a school.

But this would leave me in a sticky situation because I'd only have one chance to score well on the SAT II's for which I haven't started preparing at all and will only have time to start 2 weeks before the test. Whereas if I were to take the reasoning test, I'd already be in the SAT mindset and I wouldn't really need to prepare much more and this would give me the summer to prepare for the SAT II's.

So what do you guys suggest I do?

Why are you PLANNING on taking the SAT 3 times? Why aren't you just prepping for it sufficiently so that you don't need to keep taking it?

okay let me rephrase

Let's say I come out of the May test thinking I definitely could do better with a month of good, solid preparation or I just screwed up horribly...then what do you suggest.

Don't get me wrong. I'm trying to prepare as much as I can. However, time is scarce what with upcming AP's, school work, and many other factors.

WhoWhatWhere: that was pretty harsh. Just because the people at CC are hardcore nerds, doesnt mean that the average kida are nerds too. People have lives. It is hard sometimes. I have a hard time studing for the SAT becuase I just have so much going on with IB and Drumline and other extra activities. Sometimes I dont even feel like prepping for the SAT and instead play a game or 2 to get my mind off alll the work I have gone through.

sagarmatha: do the best you can and try to get some prep time it in between things. That's my advice. Also, dont worry about the SAT. Your success in life will not come from a 4 hour test. It will come from your hard work and determination in college. :)

thanks excel

So what do you suggest? Take it or not?
