I took the act in december and scored a freakin 20! on it.. im going into my junior year of highschool and I plan on taking it like 6 more times (whenever i reach my goal of 31). Im going to be taking it in September. Hopefully get a 26ish. I think i should start preparing now any suggestions what i should do and things i should read to help?

practice from the real ACT prep guide and also go to the library and check out pinceton reviews book, this book is harder and will help.

I am personally practicing from the Real ACT prep guide and the PR book. I agree with excel that the PR book seems harder than the real ACT prep guide. Not sure if it is as representative of the actual test as the ACT prep guide is..

is Barrons good?

Don't feel bad I took the ACT in December as well and got a 23.... I'm a junior too.... yeah hopefully I can get my score up too :(

Did you take any practice tests before taking the test in December? If so, from which book? Did you get a 23 on the practice tests too?

Thanks

Um, I think I took like one practice test and I only did the reading part, lol. But every now and then I would pick up a book and review some stuff. Oh and I used barrons.

i didn't do no practice.. i should start now
