Well it looks like I am very interested in UCSD by reading some of the threads and other information. I got accepted to UCLA as well. UCSD, for most, is like a fallback school if they do not get into Berkley or LA. So I have to choose between LA or SD and it seems that SD is winning by far.

Other than that, I did not receive any financial aid, meaning i would have to pay all four years there out of my own pocket in loans. I am thinking of going to a cal state or community college, but i woudln't like to miss out being with friends who also possibly attend here.

I got accepted to Thurgood Marshall and i would like to hear more about it. Is it possible to transfer the next year? I might not switch because i might be meeting new people there.

Should I go to UCLA since its a "better" renowned school or SD, or maybe just attend to a community college to save money.

it depends on what location u like better i guess. beach vs. smog-filled city. Or whether u perfer party-life at UCLA vs. ucsd's laid back one. Or whether ur going to college just to go to graduate school (cuz then i'd recommend UCLA). but if ur chosing a major for the fun of it go to ucsd. it'd be more easy and fun. :)

How many parties could UCLAers possibly have... UCSD is really laid back, and in a pretty damn good spot in San Diego. For me, it's a bit too close to home (as in 20minutes too close) to call it a real college experience, so I'm opting for UCLA, but if you're not from the area, it's fun. You can head downtown for parties so you won't be socially dead. The campus is really nice, and you hop across a highway to get to the beach so yeah...
