<p>I have to read a book by tomorrow, complete a reading log on every chapter (with specific insights and details), and will probably be tested or given an essay to write. I'm 1/4 done with the book. What should I do??</p>

<p>yeah.. sparknotes, or google the book; maybe you can find summaries on the chapters and just read those. Perhaps you can find an audio recording so you can lsiten to it while doing something else</p>
<p>Read it quickly. Seriously.</p>
<p>If you insist upon using some kind of summary, use Sparknotes, but remember that it often makes assertions that may be untrue, and read the book as soon as you can afterward.</p>
