What should I do?

<p>I have to get off-campus housing next year (our school essentially kicks us out after sophomore year) and, for rather extenuating circumstances into which I won't get, I don't have a place / roommate for 2008-2009. Most others are already on waiting lists with a group. My options:</p>

<p>Get on a list for a 1 bedroom: Most expensive per person / kind of lonely</p>

<p>Use craigslists / other site to look for potential roomies/places: craigslist doesn't seem to be used much by college students, and facebook marketplace doesn't have anyone looking for 2008-2009 year</p>

<p>It seems like there's not a good solution to my problem...I feel like a loser for not having anyone to house with and still not being on a waitlist for any apartments, and I fear that the next two years will suck..</p>

<p>Talk to your school's off-campus housing department and see if they have any lists of people looking for roommates. Very often there's a group of, 2 or 3 in a 3 or 4 person apartment looking for an extra person.</p>
