Sorry guys but this is my first time taking ACTs. I've done 2 practice tests and the following were my results:

English - 27/29
Math - 35/36
Science - 36/36
Reading - 35/35
Writing - Didn't do the prompts for either practice test but will take that in the actual ACT

How can I improve my english firstly and also what would that score me as? My english scores could go as bad as a 25 i think but also as good as 30.

EDIT: My rhetoric is good or its a silly mistake. Lots of problems with grammar. I have the Princeton Review book (haven't looked at that yet) and I took 2 practice tests with the official ACT book.

I’m lucky to be good with reading. I didn’t study it. But to help me on the test tomorrow I went back and looked at the 2-3 words I didn’t know. i suggest you do that and also make sure you quickly get the gist and mood of the passage. Also if it helps, write quick notes or underline sentences that strike you while you read.

I’ve studied math though. Theres a math section in the official ACT book and any topic I didn’t really remember confidently (Like matrices) i just quickly skimmed in my old Precalc book. I’m taking calculus now so most of the math wasn’t bad. Do all the questions from the ACT official book’s math section and any topics that you don’t comfortably know, read them up. Treat that section as a diagnostics test and try to get to the level of comfort that you don’t need the multiple choice answers with you. Try and solve them on your own and then look up and hopefully it’ll be one of the choices.

Grammar I suck at. Always have and always will. I’m going to look at the PR book for sure and try and learn as many of them as possible. But its okay, this is only the summer between sophomore and junior for me so there is still time :)
