What should I do??

OK, I did horrible freshman year so my GPA is alright, but I know my class rank is gonna be terrible. Class rank will be released this October for me. If I apply early decision or early action the rank wont show but if I do this then that cancels out my first semester grades for senior year (which I will do very well in)
What should I do?

You ask a lot of very basic questions and seem to be planning to apply to college with no guidance whatsoever. I suggest that you buy and read one of the guides to college applications that you can get at many newsstands and bookstores. Guides such as those put out by Time and Newsweek. I also suggest that you work closely with your GC.

You’ve indicated that your parents aren’t involved in your college applications. Presumably, you’ll need money to apply to and to attend college. If your parents are refusing to give you money or to say how much they’ll give you, your best bet probably is to apply to local colleges – including community colleges that you can commute to from home. Otherwise, it probably will be impossible for you to go to college if your parents won’t give you any money for college or release their tax info so you can qualify for financial aid.

ED is only advisable if money is no consideration.

wats ED
and yes they will give me money/tax info so I dont have to apply to community college

You still may have to apply to community college. Just because you apply for and deserve need-based financial aid doesn’t mean you’ll get the aid that you need. Very few colleges can meet the full demonstrated financial need of students whom they accept. The colleges that are wealthy enough meet all of their students’ full demonstrated need are the most difficult ones in the country to gain admission to.

Realize, too, that what your parents are willing to pay for your education may be far less than what colleges expect them to pay.
