wHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!!

I'm so stresseddd

I don't know what should I do.

Ok, here's what I want to know.

I'm trying to transfer to UCB as a biochemistry major.

they say I have to finish major courses, and they also say I have to finish GE and they also say I have to finish IGETC.

Well, Sum them up, I got more than 100 units. wow!!!!!

What should I do?

btw, It seems that they don't have biochemistry major in UCB.

and I found out that Molecular and cell biology & chemical biology seemed to fit the biochemistry description...

so I wonder which one is biochemistry major... would you guys plz help me out? lol...

GE and IGETC are interchangeable.

Hey. The first this I want you to do is to calm down. :)

Okay, so basically science majors have many prerequisite when it comes to transferring. You do not HAVE TO finish GE or IGETC, but its helpful if you do. I applied as a MCB major at Berkeley and I have finished all the prereqs and IGETC, but I’m at 91 units. Only 70 units transfer, so keep that in mid. I would easily have gone over 100, but I scored a 5 on the Calculus AP BC exam.

The most important thing is to finish your major prereqs first. That should be biology, gen chem, o chem, calculus and physics. In addition to UC transfer requirements (english + a few humanities classes). That should bring you over 60 units. Don’t worry about finishing GE or IGETC. It may look better to finish it, but it is not necessary.
