What should I do?

Currently I'm a junior in high school, one thing that worries me when it's my time for college applications is my high school transcript. My school district changed the grading the scale at the beginning of my Junior year.

Here's what the old grading scale was like:
94-100 = A
90-93 = B+
84-89 = B
80-83 = C+
74-79 = C
70-73 = D+
64-69 = D
Below 64 = F

Here's the new grading scale:
A (93-100) = 4.0
A- (90-92) = 3.7
B+ (87-89) = 3.3
B (83-86) = 3.0
B- (80-82) = 2.7
C+ (77-79) = 2.3
C (73-76) = 2.0
C- (70-72) = 1.7
D+ (67-69) = 1.3
D (64-66) = 1.0
F (below 64) = 0.0

According to my counselor, the grades that I got prior to the grade scale change will not be modified to fit the new standards. This means that every single B+ that I had prior to the change won't be changed to an A-. The same thing goes for the B's that I had which won't be B+'s. Additionally, my old grades are are still going to factor in the old weights into my GPA which means that a B+ will be a 3.5

What worries me is that this will probably go against me on my college application. Is there going to be some way to notify my selected colleges about this?

There doesn’t seem to be anything fishy about that unless I’m missing something. I don’t think that there really is much that you can do.

That worries me too.
I have the same problem. I got 2 B+s sophomore year (both 93s) which won’t be changed to As… because the new grading scale isn’t retroactive. Now, B+ is like 87-89 so that’s a lot of points right there.
