<p>It depends how strong a candidate you are. If I were you I would go into investment banking (2-3 years) or trading, then I would try and get into the elite investment firms (hedge funds, fund of funds, Private Equity). These are the jobs pay among the highest in the country.</p>
<p>The best schools for someone pursuing this path are:</p>

<li>Stanford, Dartmouth, Columbia, Duke, Williams, etc as an econ major (The Ivies "plus")
