What should I major in?

<p>Mainly: What I want to do is create a new form/source of energy. After much research I am thinking that the correct major is Chemical Engineering. I just want to know if there are any other majors that are related to my interests.</p>

-No, I do not want to be a petroleum engineer ect.
-YES, I want to research and/or make a NEW source of energy. </p>

Chemical engineering has two large sectors; medicine/food, and oil/plastics.</p>

<p>Alternative/new energy goes under where?
Environmental engineering. It can be called other things, or be grouped elsewhere, but that’s your future.</p>
