I originally applied and was accepted as a neuroscience major at UT-Austin. However, I've decided that route is not for me. If my ultimate goal is medical school, would majoring in nutrition, public health, or medical laboratory sciences be most beneficial.

Side note: the nutrition major has an "international nutrition" concentration with a built-in study abroad experience. I love traveling and learning about other cultures, so I'm leaning toward nutrition-international right now.
Medical lab science appeals to me because if I decide med school isn't for me later on, I have med lab scientist to fall back on.
I am also very interested in public health/global health, and could see potentially having a career in this area.

I am intrigued by all three of these subjects, and am having a difficult time deciding which would be the "safest/most secure" choice for me.
