I have recently been interested in going to Law School after my undergrad, would it be better to major in Political Science and get a minor in something useful like math, or just get a straight economics degree, so that I can get into a decent graduate law school? Any other majors/minors would be useful.

Law school doesn’t care what your major is, only what your grades are. That said, a minor/double major in something that gives you skills is very nice to have in case law school doesn’t work out.

A philosophy or English major are also traditional pre law majors. My advice is no matter what you major in take at least one logic class in your schools philosophy department helps with the lsat.

If you’re interested in being an IP lawyer, you want to have a science major. Otherwise, do whatever major you enjoy the best and can succeed in academically.
