Besides accounting, finance, computer science, and computer engineering. There is not IT major at my school and the majors listed above are too limited to get accepted into.

Will BS Economics and Statistics w/Computer Science classes be fine? Eventually getting an IT certification or MS in MIS.

What majors are related to IT?

When you say those majors are “too limited to get into”, do you mean there is a lot of competition for very few openings? Because of the majors listed Computer Science would be your best choice for an IT career.

If you can’t get into that, most schools that offer business degrees offer some sort of IT major. While many call it MIS, some call it CIT or CIS so you might need to do some digging to find out. Often these are offered through the business college so start asking questions there.

If there are no other options, then taking math (calcular and linear/discrete math), stats, plus whatever CS classes you can get into would be helpful. But it might be a challenge to explain that to prospective employers.
