What should I make my email?

I know this is really silly...but should I make my email:

A) Firstname.Lastname@berkeley.edu --> john.smith@berkeley.edu
B) FirstinitialLastname@berkeley.edu --> jsmith@berkeley.edu
C) FirstinitialLastname@berkeley.edu --> jsmith@berkeley.edu

I like option B but my last name is 10 letters long, so B isn't very aesthetically pleasing IMO.

I know...I know...the dilemma!!!!!

jsmith, imo.

Mine is FirstinitialMiddleinitialLastName@berkeley.edu

Really? Whichever looks the best to you. On the plus side, I believe CalMail has implemented aliases, so you might even get to choose more than one (or a "fun" one).

undecided, mine is also in that format.

cal mail is kinda screwed up imo...
no longer than 5 characters in a row? *** - so if ur name is longer than 5 characters you have to cut a part of it off?

uh i think thats for password?

JJStotheMITH@berkeley. edu

^ lol (10 char)

I like option B.

I made mine a while ago, and it's just like undecided's ^^^. I think it looks more professional ;)

mine is:

firstname.lastinitial@berkeley.edu

I like it, personally. Just cause there's basically no one else that shares my name :)

mine is just first name and last name ... blahh...

Isn't firstname lastname (no spaces or periods) the first choice of most people?

*****@berkeley.edu has a nice ring to it.

@flutterfly_28 - thanks, I stand corrected

just created mine :)

Hum, I'm having the same dilemma.

Should I go with:

FirstInitialLastName -> ie. jsmith
OR
FirstName (I have a unique first name that no one else has)

if you have an exceptionally unique name i would go with that. but otherwise put your last name.

so I have a very common first name and my initials are all the same letter.
Everything i've tried looks dumb. what do you guys think?
firstnamelastname
ssmith
firstinitial.lastname
s.smith
firstinitialsecondintial(same as first).lastname
ss.smith

or any other suggestions?

why dont you spell out your first name

samuelsmith@berkeley . edu

I like firstname.lastname, but of course, it's up to your personal preferences.
