What should I take at community college during the summer?

(I hope this is the right forum.)

I want to take 2 classes over the summer (after junior year) at community college to boost my weighted GPA (I got several B's...). One of them will be Chemistry, but I'm having trouble deciding on the other. I was thinking English, Biology, or Physics...? A subject other than math. Any suggestions? I don't want to be too stressed out, since I'm going to get a part-time job as well (to help pay for college admissions expenses).

By the way, my goal is environmental engineering.

biology, its easy

yeah, biology would be a good choice. if not, maybe environmental science, or if you can, some sort of ecosystem-focused biology class.

what cc is it? can i see a link? i want to see their classes

take something that interests you. you don't want to take anything and spend your summer on it that doesn't interest you,

English for Non-Native Speakers.

I'm a bit confused on taking cc classes. Does this go on your HS transcript? Is it added to your HS GPA? Does it vary from school to school?

Thanks guys. I think I'll take either biology or environmental science (leaning towards the latter). Unless there are more suggestions..?

shortiegirl9 - I'm not sure if it'll go onto my HS transcript since I've already taken HS level Biology and Chemistry. I'll have to ask the counselor. I've been told taking a CC class is like taking an AP class. It may vary from school to school though.

If you want it on your high school transcript, then you have to get the course approved by your guidance counselor, and then have the cc send the transcripts to your school. Only if you want to though.

Oh, and thanks for the link. I'll post which I think sound the most interesting when I get to look at it

edit: yeah, environmental science looks better than bio lol
