Ok so I have a problem. I have taken the SAT twice and got 2 scores that I consider subpar (2040 and 2090) and also subpar SAT 2 scores (690 on math1, math 2, and chem). Superscored I have a 2170. Heres my problem- I fear I am running out of time. There are 2 tests left to take if I do regular decision, but I did want to do early action to a few schools. Should I take the subject tests first or should I take the SAT 1 first? (I will be taking the ACT in September and hope to get a 32 or 33 for all those who suggest that I should try that). Any ideas would be great, I just dont know what to do at this point.

Subpar as compared to what? That superscore should be fine if you have a decent gpa, because even a perfect wont guarantee anything in the ivy league admit crapshoot.

I would take subject tests related to your major(if you know). This way if you are successful it will easily show your competence.

@MightyMouse02 thanks a ton for the advice! That was what I was thinking- taking subject tests first and then the sat after to ensure I show colleges I am ready for my major.

Exactly. No problem good luck

MightyMouse02 is correct.
Take those SAT IIs related to your major.
Retaking MATH II would be great maybe sometime in OCT with another subject test.
Study up for the next SAT test if you plan on taking it again in maybe Nov or Dec.
Early action deadlines may be in early Nov, but correct me if i’m wrong, some school take ACT/SAT scores in Dec or even Jan.

I hope this helps!
Good luck!
