what should i take...

im in a sort of limbo here. i've got my scheduling conference for my senior year of high school pretty soon and i'm not sure what class to take for my last slot. my picks are...

-ap physics b
-ap physics c
-ap stat

the reason why im not sure what to pick yet is because i know that both physics and stat are part of a premed curriculum and its not that i want the ap credit, but that i want a "pre-premed insight" into what kind of classes will be thrown at me in premed/college. my physics teacher also tells us that physics b is geared more towards the mcats and c is geared more towards engineers, although im not entirely sure if this is all true or not (as she is probably just trying to promote her class). so, which to take? oo, and also, im going to take ap bio, but should i do ap chem instead, or does it not matter?

phsyics C is much harder and geared towards SCIENCE, not just engineering majors. Physics B is much easier

I think Physics B is geared more towards the MCATs and is more conceptual, while Physics C is geared towards the engineering/science field and is calculus-based. To be completely honest, Statistics is relatively easy, but can be a little boring sometimes. Good luck with your decision!

is it possible to take AP bio and AP Chem? I think that would be good.

Stats are not required for most med schools, but calc is so make sure you have some knowledge of that. I think college physics (which, like Physics C is Calc based) will be more similar to Physics C, but I'm not sure.

i'm going to take ap bc calc, although cannot take both chem and bio, although i wish i could, because both classes take up 2 class periods, which means that will take up 4 periods and so i cant fit both in there along with the rest of my schedule, unless i drop ap spanish 5, but since i've dropped orch already, i need my "4 straight years of a dedicated subject," so im reluctant to drop that, unless that hype behind taking "4 straight years of a dedicated subject" to help u to get to a better college is bull. =) although, if i follow that course of action, it means i wont be able to take physics. i wish school policy would just let me take a billzion classes now.

i think i will either take physics b or c. i'll have to think about that one.

take phys. b,
seems easier and listen to others who say it helps you more on MCATs and med school
, but what's really the diff betwen phys b and c?

AP Physics B: trigonometry-based

AP Physics C: calculus-based
