What should I work on the get into MIT?

no offense to you Techy but do you mean that my SAT score (1910) is weak or that colleges don’t look at them as much. I know its low and I’m hoping to bring it up december 5th.

I don’t know how the statement could even be interpreted as offensive? I mean to say that for MIT admissions, the SAT is below the 25th percentile. It is a low score, and to have an appreciable chance of admission, you will need to score about 200-250 points more. Below 2000 is generally a deal-breaker.

EDIT: Unless, ofc, you have special circumstances. (But in any case, even students with 800 in the M section manage low 700s in CR and W at MIT)

What do you mean special circumstances? Are you trying to tell me something? haha I know my SAT is horrible, my ACT is also not great at 30. I’m retaking the SAT december 5th so hopefully I’ll raise it over that 2100 mark.

Also, whe I said “no offense” I really meant “Not to be arrogant” by saying “What do you mean weak?”

MIT occasionally admits extraordinary students whose score is something along the lines of 450 CR 500 W 800 M. Students whose native language is not English, but show extreme aptitude in other ways. (Like published research, IMO medalist, Westinghouse etc)
